Applications can be found under the "application" section of each event. If there is not a link, we are not currently accepting any more applications.

Question 2

I don't write fantasy, can I still apply to be an attending author?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can still apply. Priority will be given to fantasy authors, but don't let that discourage you! We will have a waitlist for cases of cancelations, no shows, and if we expand to a bigger room and have more tables to fill!

Is there an age policy?

The author and vendor market is all ages! 
The evening events are 18+.
ID's will be checked at the gate.

My plans changed. Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

All sales are final and no refunds will be issued. However, we understand that plans may change, so you may resell your ticket in one of our resell groups (Coming Soon).

What is the bag policy?

There is not a specific bag policy. All totes, purses, and backpacks are welcome. Top loading carts are also allowed. No wagons, dollys, or suitcases.
All bags are subject to search at security's discretion.

I already have my ticket. Do I need to go to registration?

Yes. Please check in at registration to get your badge. Badges allow you in and out access throughout the event.
Registration opens prior to the market opening to allow more time to check people in. Getting your badge early does not grant early access.

What is registration?

Registration is where you get your badge. You must do this before entering any of the events. Registration is only available at the market. please make sure you check in and get your badge before going to the faire or ball.

What payment types are accepted?

Each author and vendor choose their own accepted payment types. Please check with them individually to find out what payment options they accept.

All tickets and official Tea & Tropes merch is card/tap only.

What is the dress code?

The market and Faire are casual, but costumes are encouraged!
The ball is formal/black tie.

No, we do not sell tickets to the evening events separately.

Featured authors have a limit of two per person. All authors with their own booths create their own limits. Please reach out to them for specific numbers.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

We use both indoor and outdoor spaces. 
The Markets and balls are inside, while the faire is outside.
If there is a change to this, it will be noted on the specific event.

How do signings work?

Featured author signings are on a first come, first serve basis. No need to register or get a wristband beforehand!

I have ADA needs. Who do I talk to?

If you have any ADA needs, please let our staff know at registration. They will give you the credentials to use the VIP lines. You may have one companion accompany you. If you have further needs, please contact us at info@teaandtropes.com
